Sunday (...Roast - no) (...Rest - no), ah yes – Work

Volunteers were out today to start on some of the most urgent things poor Saint Mary's needs to have done to her. Some water ingress is happening because storms have loosened, and ever blow off, some tiles. As a result, there are patches like this inside:

It was fine day, with a light (for Orkney) wind. It only cut to the bone in 5 minutes instead of three. As usual, it was beautiful down in Burwick, with a steel-grey sea.

So some rather brave workers set to refitting slates and lead.
